This is the first test of a scrolling blog area to view info on my latest projects.The Jeff Olson Memorial page is finally nearing completion. I have recently dug up an mp3 recording of "Follow Your Heart" as an example of original work. Created a music and friends/ family photo pages and moved an online music bio to it's own page.

 After managing Wally's Drums since January of '01, I was finally offered the opportunity to purchace the business. It has since been renamed Dave's Pro Drums and Percussion. A website is in the works, to be announced shortly. I continue to affect repairs and consult with Wally's in the percussion realm as they continue to point business my way. It's been a great run, and I hope to continue to serve the music community with quality instruments and professional percussive advice within this new form. Thanks to all who have been so supportive of the drum store for all these years, it wouldn't be here without you.

 I am overjoyed to announce that Kelsey and I were engaged on Nov 21st, 2007, at a coastside inn in Mendocino Ca. She almost barfed on me when I asked. Preliminary "date" is set for spring/summer of '08. More info and pics to follow. "it's about freaking time!"...

Arson is the probable cause for a fire that took out the property immediately to the right of the Drum store at 8pm 1/24/07. 50 foot flames. A link to the news story here. Dean Thurston and his students escaped before the water came in. Damage to the roof, and floor with some mildew but the building still stands. The 14+ fire engine response was spectacular - "the drum guy". Recently added the OMB's amazing performance of 'Malaguena' in 1994, for your listening pleasure

Yes, the rumors are TRUE, we are attempting to aquire a new retail location in downtown OC and give life to Dave's Pro Drums and Percussion once more. Grand Opening scheduled the first week in Nov if all goes well. More info to follow....Stay Tuned.
